Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018
The Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018 that passed February 9, 2018 included tax provisions that apply to 2017. They extended items that had expired at the end of 2016 to now be available for 2017 and expire December 31, 2017. • Residential energy credit (including solar)
• Deduction of mortgage insurance premiums
• Exclusion of cancellation of debt income on qualified home residence debt
• Deduction for tuition and fees
